Andrew Taylor, President and CEO
Andrew Taylor is a consultant and presents on education throughout NY state as well as nationally. Andrew is also a NY State Model Schools and Distance Learning Program Coordinator. As Coordinator for the Model Schools/Distance Learning Program, Andrew has played an integral role in developing effective methods of technology and distance learning integration to the classroom to enhance content delivery of instruction and started one of New York State's first online distance learning programs. He has presented on technology topics at the local, state, and national level. Andrew is also an Adjunct Professor at Marist College and has been published in several educational technology magazines. He has worked as both a teacher and administrator in NY public and private schools. Andrew graduated from St. Lawrence University with a BA in Fine Art, Music, and Theater and his MEd in Education. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz with School District Administrators Certification. Andrew also holds teaching certificates in Fine Arts, Special Education, and Communication.
James Treloar, Vice President of Curriculum & Instruction
James has taught Chemistry, Biology and Physics in both middle and High School in the state of New York with a hands-on, minds-on learner centered approach to teaching. He has worked for two years as the Director of Math, Science and Technology at Rondout Valley Central School District where he coordinated and developed curriculum and supervised instruction in grades K-12. James holds a Masters Degree in School Administration from Touro College as well as a Masters of Science Degree in Education from Queens College. He did his Undergraduate study at the University of Oregon where he received a Bachelors of Science in General Science.Mr. Treloar holds permanent NYS Certifications in Biology, Chemistry, School Aministration and Supervision and School District Administration.
Valerie Carelli, Vice President of Customer Relations
Valerie Carelli has been involved in Alternative Education and Youth Development programs since 1991. She served as the Alternative Education Chairperson and Work Studies Coordinator for the Kingston School District. An active member of the NYS PTA, Valerie has held the positions of regional parent involvement & education chair. On a school level she has served as PTA President & Treasurer, Building Leadership Team member at both the elementary and middle school level and Booster Club President. Appointed to the steering committee and active member of the Ulster County Youth Council, Valerie collaborates with community service agencies to increase work force development opportunities for youth ages 14-21. Ms. Carelli holds NYS certification in the following areas: School Counselor, Business and Distributive Education, Diversified Work Studies Coordinator, School District Administrator (SDA) and School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS). |
